Briar Cliff Lodge

Briar Cliff Lodge was built around the turn of the 20th century. As decribed in a Delaware and Hudson Railroad brochure named A Summer Paradise, Delightful and Healthful Resorts:

Mrs. Bertha P. Borchard, Proprietress, Horicon, NY. Situated about 50 feet from the water, on the west shore of Brant Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Adirondacks. Accommodates 30 guests. Electricity and baths. Spacious living room with fireplace, large dining room, and light airy bedrooms.
The building remains today, but has ceased it's commercial operation.
