Annual Events
Boat Parade
The Boat Parade is held during the 4th of July weekend at Raymond's Cove, off of Sand Beach Mt. and Palisades Road. Participants choose a theme, decorate their boat, and may dress in costumes & use music. Prizes are awarded. Spectators may view from the shore (bring a chair) or from their boats.
Membership Meetings
General Membership Meetings are held twice a year at 9 a.m. at the Town Hall. There is frequently an outside guest speaker. The current status of projects is presented, attendees are provided an opportunity to speak, and proposals may be voted on.
Golf Outing
The Golf Outing is usually held on the first Friday in August. There are numerous prizes; best team low gross after handicap, longest drive, closest to the pin, and more. The event includes a continental breafast, lunch and social.
End-of-Season Party
The party is held in early September. Pizza and softdrinks are free, and tickets for mixed drinks are available for $2 each. People are asked to bring appetizers to share.
