  When to Fish Where to Fish
Largemouth Bass Good to excellent fishing from opening day (3rd Saturday in June) to mid-July. Fish dawn hours and late evening into the night. Mid-July to late August - fair to good fishing during bright daylight hours, good fishing during night hours into dawn. Fall fishing (September into November) also offers excellent fishing. Fish early a.m. to mid-day, then late afternoon into dark hours. Largemouth will be found on and around weed beds and weedline structure. Work shallows 3-10' deep during night and dawn hours. During bright daylight hours, fish structure down 10-20', also around heavy shade pockets In weedy shallows.
Smallmouth Bass Same as Largemouth Bass. Evening fishing around island at southern end of lake offers an excellent opportunity for trophy fish. Best bet during day is to fish 15-35' deep off rock shoals and structure, because of the clean, clear water. Dawn, late evening, and night fishing in the shallows and around islands.
Brown Trout Good fishing all season from early May into late September. Fish early morning and late evening. Work around islands and points of land. During summer months and early fall, fish along sand bars off girl's camp.
Pickerel Best fishing from mid-May Into September. Early a.m. to 10 a.m. then 3:30 p.m. to late evening. Work same habitat as Largemouth Bass.
Panflsh Excellent fishing spring, summer, and fall. Fish off shoals, points, and weed beds. During day, fish 8-10' deep.
Bullheads Good to excellent spring and summer fishing. Late evening and nighttime. South end of lake. Fish muddy shallows around weed lines
